My late grandfather Thomas Poole served on HMS Venomous - as Ship's Writer?. He was definitely on the destroyer in 1945 in
Kristiansand as I always remember the scroll on his living room wall from the Norwegian Government, giving thanks for the liberation.

He also served on HMS Malcolm and MTBs in WWII.

Other than his medals I'm not sure what my mother still has.

I would be interested in the book you plan to publish.
