KK Waldemar Kophamel November 18, 1915 - June 9, 1917
Kapitän zS Theodor Püllen June 9, 1917 - December 29, 1917
Kapitän zS Kurt Grasshoff December 29, 1917 - Oktober, 1918
Kapitän zS Püllen Oktober, 1918 - Oktober, 1918 (reappointed because of sickness)

and
I. U-Flotille Mittelmeer
KK Otto Schultze December 29, 1917 - Oktober, 1918
KK Friedrich Lützow (relief) May, 1918 - Until end

II. U-Flotille Mittelmeer
KK Rudolf Ackermann December 29, 1917 - Oktober, 1918
