WWI armament on Canadian merchant ship

<HTML> Hello,

I am writing a book on the Dec. 6, 1916 sinking of the ship SS Mount Temple by the German surface raider Mowe. The Mount Temple had Canadian dinosaur skeletons on board. A totally spam and commercial-free website has been developed: www.ssmounttemple.com

I have a picture of the Mount Temples gun, but can't find it in any of my artillery books (they are all on big guns). The Mount Temples gun looks like a 20 or 37 mm, perhaps an AA gun. It apopears to have a stock and a top-mounted shell cartridge box. The picture shows the whole stern of the ship with the silhouette of the gun. I'm posting this in the hopes someone can identify the gun for me. If interested, email me and I'll send a couple jpegs.

Thanks, Darren</HTML>
