I can only confirm your assertion about UB112, Kplt Rhein on 2 Oct.1918 in the mentioned area.
Shortly after midnight, armed british steamer Bamse was sunk by a torpedo fired on surface. Later on that night, the armed british steamer Poljames was also sunk by a surface-fired torpedo.
That day, UB112 received a radioed order to head for Germany due to collapse of the Flanders base.
Unfortunately I have no records of survivors rowing to the shore. Hoping this will help anyway.
