no, the vessel isn't known by German sources under another name. In Rehder: Die Verluste der Kriegsflotten 1914-1918 (Losses of Comat Fleets 1914-1918), published in Munich, 1969, the "Zaida" became a probable victim of a mine in the Gulf of Alexandrette. I have no idea at the moment who laid a possible mine barrage in that area. Could it have been, that the "Zaida" sunk on a British mine?
