<HTML>Hello again,
Has anything been published on the above subject. Werner in the u 55 took a number of masters and gunners prisoner after the sinking of a merchant vessel. For example he took the master of the Torrington (Starkey) after the sinking of the vessel and there were a number of other masters on board by the end of the patrol.
Does anyone know where they were held? ets what sort of treatment they received.
Many thanks
