U-35 Spacial Operations in Spain
Date: May 25, 2003 08:28PM

<HTML>I am very interested in the subject of special operations carry out by german submarines in the Mediterranean, mainly by U-35 in Spain.

In my files I had counted three of this operations:

-on 21 June 1916 at Cartagena for deliver a letter from the Kaiser to the King of Spain Alfonso XIII
-on 30 September to 2 October 1916 near Cartagena to recover three german officers; one of them Kapitan-Leutnant Canaris, later chief of the Abwehr (counterespionage)
-on 14-15 February 17 in Cape Tiñoso to land two secrente agents, correspondence and explosives.

If somebody could help providing another souce for this enquiry or knows any other particular about this events, I would appreciate any help.

My best regards.
