Thanks for your answer, but I still have some questions about it.
According to the Swedish extended protest about TORBURG when she was stopped by the submarine, the sub hoisted a Austrian flag. Did this means that the sub was Austrian with Austrian crew, or was it German with German crew under Austrian flag?
Since I also find out that many of the "Leased" German submarines to Austria also change there numbers as exampel German coastal minelayingsub UC-12 become under Austrian flag U-24. Did this also happend with German U-38 and U-35.
