As I know, the wrerck of this submarine has not been dived, so, her position was fixing by spanisn navy sailors in order to refloat them after being scuttled, but this operation wasn´t carry out. Would be wonderful a salvage operation of a WW1 submarine for Musseum nowadays.

Efectively, the 11 of April most of the crew was carry to Alcala de Henares (near Madrid) in order to be interned there, but some crewmembers (commander between them) remain on board, and, in the night of 25 of May made trials with submarine engines and trying to dive inside the bay, being hampered by the alarm given by other ships in the base.
Spanish authorities taken then mesures in order to seize, and the ship was taken alongside the cruiser "Rio de la Plata", with a spanish watch.

The submarine was scuttled in the exit of the dry-dock in order to couple diving planes, rudders and shafts being the second german submarine scaped from internement in Spain in WW. Another italian escaped in WW2.

This is, resumed, the information I has. I have this amplied, but in spanish.

I am investigating this subject, in a work with the title "Spain and the Submarine war 1914-45".

If you have another information, please let me know. I will grants every information given.
