<HTML>Hi Brian
Thanks for that, all help and suggestions are most welcome.
The report I have about D5 was there were five survivors according to Commander Robert Turner, DSO of HMS D3, who saw them on shore after the incident.
The drifter FAITHFUL had moved in and picked up four survivors: Lt.-Cdr. Godfrey ‘Bertie’ Herbert, Sub-Lt. Ian Macintyre, Chief Petty Officer Robert Speirs and Able Seaman Charles Sexton, while Able Seaman Suttill from Leeds, was picked up by a local fishing smack later.
Cheers Ron</HTML>
