3 sub attacks 1914

<HTML>Hi all,
can anyone provide identifications of the following:

1) a cruiser attacked by HMS D.5 off Doggerbank on 21/8/14, it has been identified as a Roon class or a CL of the Rostock type - which is correct?

2) on or about 23/10/14 HMS E.1 attacked & missed a German DD in the Baltic: does anyone have the correct date, place & target's identity?

3) did a Uboat indeed attack HM SS B.3 off the South Goodwins @ 1235 hrs of 2/10/14 or was the torpedo a figment of the lookout's imagination? If not, what Uboat was operating there?
