u-boat report dated 1916

<HTML>I was sent a cutting from the Edmonton Journal newspaper (Alberta Canada) dated June 1916? with a report that passengers on the liner Grampian which had just arrived in Montreal reported seeing a u-boat upside down being towed by three British Trawlers off the Irish Coast. The report was written in crude propaganda style referring to the 'Pirates' on the u-boat. Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks, Roy Prince</HTML>
