<HTML>Hello all,
In the book- The Tin Openers, by Kendall McDonald.
ISBN- 1-901313-19-0. www.historicmilitarypress.com
(Its about a British Royal Navy diving team and sunken u-boats.)
Miller, one of the divers says he knew that a mutiny had occured
on one u-boat, despite the bravery of their crews.
He would not reveal the identity, only the Admiralty were told.
He would only say it was a UB-111 class u-boat,
the submarine concerned was sunk "off " Dover by gunfire
from an auxiliary cruiser.
All the submarines machinery had been put out
of action by a single shell.
On the bow of this u-boat there was painted a human eye.
Any idea which u-boat this might have been?
Regards, Vin.</HTML>
