<HTML>Hi Max,
the "Henry R. James", 3.146 grt, was torpedoed sunk in a surface attack in the morning of July 16th 1917 by S.M. UC 48 (Ramien), 10 miles E by N of Ile de Baz. She was an armed merchant ship and sailed in a coastal convoy when she was sent to the bottom. 24 (all?) of her crew lost their lives.
Hope this helps at first.
So long.
