However, the Fairy/UC 75 encounter is the only one I've found so far that fits. I'd appreciate any better ideas that the experts on this forum can offer. I'm a Titaniac of good standing, and a newbie when it comes to WWI U-boats.
There's a famous saying about sea stories and fairy tales: the only way you can tell the difference is that a fairy tale begins with "Once upon a time" and a sea story begins with "Now this ain't no s--t!" :-)
