<HTML>Peter,
This is a subject I discussed recently with another chap. Some differences can come from the difference of time in use on both sides. In UK it was GMT, in France the summer time GMT +1 appeared in 1917 and I think this summer time was also in use in Germany (+1 in winter and +2 in summer. Anyone can confirm ?).
In other cases, one can notice some discrepancies in Lloyds war losses and I think that Spindler's date is to be taken for sure as he had access to the various KTBs when he prepared his books.
