<HTML>Hi David
CREOSOL was a Royal Fleet Auxiliary tanker (as you know,)which lies in position 54 52'.240N 001 11'.885W and 5 miles ENE from Seaham Harbour, lying in 41m. I tried everywhere to get information on her crew and cargo, etc., but come up against a blank wall. She is registered under P.O.M.A.R.D. (The Protection of Military Remains Act). However, it hasn't stopped divers going to it. My main interest was my book, but it has made me curious as to why a tanker should have a block put on it, all these years later, and still in force. The wreck is totally intact still.
Cheers Ron</HTML>
