<HTML>Whilst reasearching events surrounding the above it has now come to light that the crippled vessel was taken in tow by a nearby trawler who presumably was attempting to get the vessel into a Southern Irish port (possibly Waterford as that was probably closest). Is there anyone out there who can throw any more light on this event? The trawler may have been the "Stormcock", was she from an Irish port? The attempt was unsuccessful however, and the victim sank.
Thanks.</HTML>
