Also, My information (from the UK Hydrographic Office) says that the Helge was 343 gross tons, and 'CAPTURED & SUNK BY SUBMARINE 6M NW OF GUERNSEY, WHILST EN-ROUTE FROM GRANVILLE FOR BARRY ROADS. (WW1 Shipping Losses & Lloyds List WW1)'
Which is right? I think that Danemark's information most likely to be correct as the Pontet Canet information I have from the UKHO is the same as Danemark's and it's sinking position is less than a day's steam away from the Helge position.
