More than a decade after the last post in this thread this post presumably may be totally obsolete, but nevertheless I have searched the scandinavian published collections of marine inquests regarding toerag's question on the Scandinavian ships on his list.

on Borø:

At the inquest in Tønsberg, held Dec 18, the Master Lars Endresen gave the location of the sinking as "20' N of Guersey (sic!)".
The log book presented at the inquest has the latest position from the morning of Nov 27 as 49° 47'N, 2° 30'W, as compared with uboat.net's "ship hit" page which states 49° 35'N, 3° 04'W for the sinking.

Sunk by two bombs, one in the engine room and one in the cargo hold. The lifeboat was towed for half an hour towards France, until another potential victim in the vicinity called for the U-boat's attention. The crew then rowed hard until the early morning of the 28th, when they landed at the Rock Douvre lighthouse.

On Rabbi:
There is no additional info on the location. Sunk by bombs in the engine at 0815 in the morning of the 21st Oct. Quote from the (English-language) inquest, held in Swansea Oct 23: "The commander of the submarine took possession of all the Ship's papers except the crew list and the Log book. The commander also gave him a Certificate that he had sunk the vessel and taken possession of the Ship's papers."
The lifeboats were spotted and the crew saved by the Norwegian steamer TEMPO three hours later, and they were landed at Swansea Oct 23rd.

For those not fluent in Scandinavian languages, I have access to inquests from Norwegian and Danish WWI losses. The Swedish published book on WWI merchant losses does not quote verbatim from the inquests, but gives a redacted summary. If it helps anyone on the forum, I am willing to search and translate.
