Good evening all,
To confirm that HMS BEGONIA was sunk on 29th March 1916
From the Court of Enquiry. TNA ref.ADM137/3150
Maybe this thread has gone a little astray. Yves originaly posted on Siri's Forum re SS Begonia . There was A British Vessel of this name around at the time but she changed her name to MAINDY BRIDGE in 1916/17. Maybe the Spanish BEGONA 2862tons could be the vessel Yves is after. Food for thought.
