BEGONIA - steamship; built 1918; owned by Robinson & Sons of North Shields. Torpedoed by UB.55 44 miles S by W of Wolf Rock when en route to the Aegean from the Tyne and Plymouth with naval stores. All the crew were saved.
EUPHORBIA - steamship; built 1917; owned by Robinson & SOns of North Shields. Torpedoed by UC.75 in the English Channel, 14 miles E by S from the Royal Sovereign lightship when inward bound from the Far East for London with a cargo of rice. Fourteen men died.
