ELOBY, 6545 grt, sunk July 19, 1917 75 miles SExE Malta 35°11'N, 15°38'E by U 38. 56 dead including the master. ELOBY was built in 1913 and ownder by the British & African Steam Navigation Co. Ltd., an arm of Elder, Dempster & Co. Ltd.
