This matter has been evocated several times on the forum (make a search in older topics). I never found the slightest proof of a haunted U-Boat. The history of ghost one can found in tabloids has no historic basis and moreover, the US sub did not sink that boat, the wreck of which having been since definitely identified in the Bristol Channel area.
Also, it was not U-65 but UB-65, Kplt Martin Schelle.
