This is mearly another ghost tale that, besides being good entertainment, has no grain of truth. There may have been sightings by crew members but these were probably misconceptions. Co2, Hydrogen from electrical shorts, lack of oxygen from the time spent underwater there may have been ghosts but they were in the minds of the crewmembers.
If there was a dead officer who was he? How come there's now record of a UB-65 officer being killed, there was only one captain of UB-65, there may have been an exorcism to calm the crews nearves after their oxygen deprived ghost sighting but not likely.
The sinking of UB-65 however is strange I'll admit that.
