Ufo, Yves,

the date U 90 shot the sheep was 05.06.1918, it was on her way back to base while they anchored at the western shore of North Rona between 06.00h - 09.00h, accounting for 7 sheep. That's written down in the War Diary.

For a scan of the relevant page Michael Lowrey might help you, I just have a note in my U 90-file on that.

The W/T-station of St. Kilda was attacked on the way out to the patrol area.

Literally every U-Boat going to the areas to the west of the British Isles passed this area, but very few are operational there, so for "picking up fresh meet" this way you will have maybe 200 candidates or so !
