Ufo,

you are right, I've overseen the location of "your" incident, that off course would have been an too wide detour from usual patrol lanes and ways to/from patrol areas.

So far I have N O idea which u-boat/u-boats might be responsible for that, there are no germen minefields there and also I don't know if ever an german submarine penetrated this waters...

Also take in mind, that the "Commander" of the german sub also might have been one of the officers only, the CO himself making landfall seems to be highly unlikely for me.

Maybe someone in the future will make an lucky find in the war diaries, but I for my part can't help you for that particular case !
