Thank you for your input.It's much appreciated.
It looks as though she's left port and somewhere along the way run into some mishap.Be it enemy action or otherwise.
It's a shame that no u boat has claimed her as it would make it so much easier to pinpoint her fate, but I understand that it is not always easy to clearly confirm the exact identity of a kill (especially in battle conditions).
Perhaps if it was indeed an enemy that sank her, then that enemy themselves may have been sunk before registering the sinking of Eveleen, leaving her fate a mystery.
Hopefully something will come to light someday.
