The basics of the ship ...
5,866 tons (gross) cargo ship, built in 1910 by Gray's at Hartlepool.
Owners - J & C Harrison (London)
Whilst on a voyage from New York to Marseilles, with general cargo (i.e. mixed), she was torpedoed and sunk by U-34 when 62 miles south west of Planier Island off Marseilles. Three men were killed; the master and chief engineer were taken prisoner.
