U-boats that attacked my Great uncles convoy

Wondering if anyone can identify the U-boatsthat attacked my great uncles convoy. Not sure if there is enough info in his history to tell. He states that two subs attacked the convoy, damaged one ship which made it to harbour before sinking, and in return the two subs were sunk with five depth charges.

I am interested in the German side of the story.
