I have recently been lucky enough to have given a F.N.Tietz bulkhead clock that was removed from a German U-Boat that was surrendered at Harwich UK in November
1918. The clock was removed by my friend's Grandfather so I know it's genuine.
I am having a stand made for it and would like to record which U-Boat it came from. Does anyone know if it is possible to trace this information?
The clock is in perfect working order and for a 100+ year old clock keeps perfect time.
Thanks in anticipation
