U-boat time in 1917

I wonder if someone could save me a bit of time with a ready answer:
I assume that the time given in any admiralty document for an incident in the English Channel in 1917 would be GMT all the year round?
Accepting an agreed incident, what would be the equivalent time aboard a u-boat of the Flanders Flotilla and recorded in its war diary, and would the differential to GMT also be consistent the year round?
Thank you
