Hi, I'm currently involved in a project on World War 1 and it looks at the roll my hometown of Llanelli played in the war.
During the war, we had about 3 large docks handling all types of trade but mostly coal and probably military materials.
In the area were the docks of Burry Port too.
I'm trying to find out what effect if any the uboats had on the shipping but can't find any information.
If anyone knows anything, then I'd be extremely grateful for the info.
