Can anyone help identify the U-boat that fired a torpedo at the HMT Manitou on Sunday, 8 July 1917? I don't have any other information other than the attack was in the Mediterranean.
I have been trying to pull together the history of the HMT Manitou in WW1, and the ship seems to have been very fortunate to have survived at least three other attacks.
