That\'s Strange

I don\'t want to appologize for him but I do want to point out.
If you look at the material, you see that what he said is very different from what he did. In the scene were the British sailors are machine gunned, I don\'t see blood thristy men who killed with impunity. The U-boat sailor, who\'s job is to shoot them, hesitates to shoot the British. He even wheels his head around and looks at the Captain to be sure he heard right. Even then, the Captain has to say \"Get on with it\" before the order was carried out.
Mostow could have been a little more brutal about it if he wanted to.
What does it mean? Who knows? But it\'s strange that the film didn\'t have the conviction of Mostow\'s statements.
