Are you serious? Hey, I liked \"U-571\" for what it was. I had a great problem with any alleged \"historical accuracy\" -- but as far as submarine action goes, it was pretty good. (Convenient, though, that all those depth charges were going off so close and the boat could deal with all of that...)
I greatly prefer \"Das Boot\". I like it that it was interested in showing u-boat men as something other than Nazi wolves, as a crew trying to survive. Of course, the \"U-571\" director attacked \"Das Boot\" as a lie, saying that of course they were evil Nazis...

I\'m American and watch as little Hollywood output as possible. It\'s pathetic.

Which means you\'re tired of hearing how badly it represented history? Oh well, it\'s true.
