Dear Sir

Don't know if it's of any help. My late father, Ellis Edward White, was the junior radio officer on the ship.

I gather the ships regular route was a round journey from London via Cape Town, Rio, New York, Iceland, Scotland and then back to London. He met my mother after she joined the ship in Rio. He missed the ships last voyage to get married. A good idea given what happened to the ship.
