Hi
I'm wondering if there are any pictures or photoes of UC76
I sure would like to have a picture of it.
One of the ship they sunk was my great grandfathers ship D/S Bergensgut in 18 April 1917 just outside of Lerwick.
Data about the uboat
Shipyard : Vulcan, Hamburg (Werk 81)
Ordered : 12 Jan, 1916 Laid down
Launched : 25 Nov, 1916 Commissioned : 17 Dec, 1916
Commanders : 17 Dec, 1916 - 10 May, 1917 Wilhelm Barten
11 Jul, 1918 - 11 Nov, 1918 Wilhelm Ziegner
Career : 2 patrols
13 Feb, 1917 - 10 May, 1917 I Flotilla
11 Jul, 1918 - 11 Nov, 1918 training Flotilla
Successes : 14 ships sunk for a total of 6.006 tons (warships excluded).
Fate : 1 Dec, 1918 - Surrendered. Broken up at Brighton Ferry in 1919-20..
I hope anyone can help me with this one.
Best regards from
