Crew of U-35 honored 70 years later in Ireland

Seventy years ago, after sinking the Diamantis the crew of U-35 landed its crew on the shore of Ventry, Kerry Co, Ireland. A commemorative plaque was placed honoring the event. I believe that Denis Martin attended the ceremony

After taking part in the Irish commemoration, Evangelos Angelakos (The Greek island mayor related to the crew of DIAMANTIS) visited two crew members of U-35
