HMS Scotia, Dunkirk and U boat

Hi all,

Can anyone supply me with the number of the U boat that torpedoed the Admiralty Transport HMS Scotia on Wednesday 29th May 1940 when she was off Dunkirk?

The torpedo damaged the Scotia but did not sink her. That inglorious end is attributed to the Luftwaffe, who sunk her on June 1st 1940 - and machine gunned the survivors in the water....

I\'d be interested if anyone can help.
