PQ-17 / time of sinking

I am reading the uboat.net articles on PQ 17 sinkings - and keep wondering - what is the time used in the stories?

For example:

[www.uboat.net]

Is London time used throughout the story? Was there a time difference between London and Berlin? These events happened in July 42.
