Raid at Goa

I recently saw a forgetable film called ''Seawolves'' which was supposedly based on an actual British raid on German merchant ships held in the harbor at Goa, India, around 1943...then a Portuguese colony (about 600-some km south of Bombay on the west coast). My question is about the actual raid and not the motion picture.

Apparently there is a book out, which I would prefer not to buy right now: ''Boarding Party: The Last Action of the Calcutta Light Horse.'' The real-life raid was apparently to silence a radio on board one of the merchants, which was sending detailed British shipping data to U-boats in the area, with devasting results.

Does anyone have any details on the actual raid at Goa? Thanks in advance.

Regards, Craig
