U-Boats stored at Greenock

My friend and neighbour fought all through WW11 in the RN. After the war he was posted to Greenock, where for a while his job was to check on the water tightness of U-Boats anchored there. Does anyone know which U-Boats were there. My Neighbour has a Toolbox salvaged from one of the boats but it is not marked
