Unfortunately it is a long and tenacious work to compare the three passenger lists of ATHENIA (one each for Glasgow, Liverpool and Belfast) with the many different lists of survivors, but I think I have compiled a list with the names of all 1103 passengers who were aboard when the ship was torpedoed. I haven't published it yet as I wish to add some additional details from documents about ATHENIA I copied during my last visit at Kew few months ago.

Katie Gordon (age 40) and James Gordon (age 8) of Aberdeen can be found on the passenger list from Glasgow for ATHENIA. Both survived the sinking and were among the 236 survivors landed at Halifax by CITY OF FLINT.
