visit the boat, if possible, on a workday. I was there on a friday morning - no one was there. It\'s a good chance to take some good photos.
I visited U 995 in November 2000. The outer hull is in bad condition but they installed some radio equipment in the \"Funkraum\" - looks very nice.

You can buy there (only there!) a nice and detailed book (lots of pix, most colored), called \"U 995\" by Eckard Wetzel.

According to George, take a trip to Möltenort memorial. If You like , You coul´d also visit the ruins of the U-Boat Bunker \"Kilian\" in the \"Ostuferhafen\" in Kiel.
