Good to see you both :-) Ying, some very interesting information. I personally did not know about this and I thank you for the enlightenment. Craig brings up some good points and it seems difficult to find out how or why this forging was done per Donitz. The only thing I can come up with is that it was done per order of Hitler himself. If the Portuguese were somewhat of a silent German ally like Spain, I would understand the KTB changes in that case. But I really don\'t know what Portugal\'s positions was in the war, if any. I know it was neutral but this could have been a similar situation with regard to Spain.

Again, very interesting information Ying! Hopefully others can shed more light.
