<HTML>I would appreciate some clarification on wireless messages sent to and from BdU and U-boats at sea. Was there a time of day when messages were most often sent? Did the radio operator aboard a U-boat monitor all the messages sent out from Germany to front boats? Did he also \"hear\" other boats replying? I seem to recall reading somewhere that messages to individual boats were automatically repeated continuously until a reply was received or it became obvious that the boat would never respond. Is this true? If there is some reference to radio communications that I could consult, I would be happy to do that. I really find this forum to be fascinating! Thanks for your help.</HTML>
