<HTML>My pc is really acting up, and I lost a rather detailed answer as to apparent values. I sent a shorter reply direct to MPC...but currently seem to be able to post onto the forum again, so attach the short answer as to prices...

Hi MPC!
Thanks for your well-wishes in other email!! My pc is on it\\\'s way down the
tubes, so a reply on the forum never made it thru (I need a whole new
system, I\\\'m afraid).
(I\\\'ll respond with a briefer version for now, as my email itself seems to be
working...)
Regarding U-boat autograph values...
**Doenitz wartime signed seems to be $500-$1000 each
**Doenitz postwar signed seem to be $200-$250 each
**famous U-boat cdrs wartime seem to be around $400 each
**famous postwar about $100-$150 each
**less famous cdrs and others (postwar) are perhaps $60-$80 (perhaps double
if wartime signed)
Quality and condition of item, and whether KC holder or not, also impact the
value.
Very rare (Prien or Lueth signed) can be about $1000 to $2000 each.
_______________
Regarding theBritish ship named Second to None, I\\\'m betting the US ship actually
displayed a sign on their own ship later saying None....which would then
mean the Brit ship was second to their (US) ship....
Regards
Craig
PS. You can paste my message onto the forum if you like....I\\\'ll be having
trouble getting anything done with this pc till my new one gets here....
