MPC, thanks for correcting me--I do need someone to polish my English! :) Well, it\'s not the German that frets me but the abbreviations, looking like some sort of codes. But I know I must get used to them as long as I\'m interested in uboats.

The more I get to know this WWI ace, the more regrettable his unfortunate death seems. What a loss of a brilliant naval officer! What is the impact of his death? Was it a sensational event then?

Fin, you\'ve mistaken about the nationality of MPC\'s soulmate, can\'t you see that he referred to \"Malta\" again and again in his posts? :) Regarding MPC\'s resume, I\'m surely on the same battle front with you! Seems that we need to push him a little bit.
