<HTML>If I had not seen this before your post, I would have said he is still alive and visits the offices of Gabler Maschienenbau once a week. I had occasion to contact him last spring. Looks like he has since past away.

After the war IKL was indeed designing agricultural machinery just like Willy Messerschmitt was making bubble cars.
